Giclée Prints

What is a Giclée? First, my original art work is photographed by a professional photographer. Then they are taken to a printing company to have them printed on canvas. I then assemble the stretcher bars and square them in preparation to stretch the canvas prints on the bars like the original painting. These are sold as Giclée's.

On some of the Giclée's, I paint on the surface of the print with my oil paints which gives them subtle color changes and texture like the originals. These I call enhanced Giclée's. They are different from any other print.

The size of the original, determines the size of the prints. I try to do a print the exact size of the original. I also like to make a print in the range of 12x16 or 18x24 or there about. I also make smaller prints to make my work affordable for most people. These sizes are in the range of 9x12 or 8x10 etc., for less than $100.00.
